Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?

my email suggested that their was a hidden compartment in my apartment somewhere, and also the janitor outside my room said something about there being a space behind the television, but i have looked all over the room and dont see a way to acess the "hidey-hole". where is it?Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
Check an online guide.Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
The janitor is correct. There is a hollowed space behind your large TV which houses a significant cache of items. Included is a armor pricing rounds mod.

To access this, when you enter your apartment, use the security terminal placed on the right column of the wooden entryway to your living room. It is directly past the kitchen entryway which is also to the right. The password is 5375 (found on your home computer). However, hacking the terminal will yield EXP. Seeing as how it is only Security Level 1, it is always good to get extra EXP.Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
Same question! I've been reading walkthroughs and guides for this all afternoon. lol
By the stairs leading to the door and kitchen on the wall to the right is a little thing like the hacking keypad things. activate it and you'll know where it is.

Do i need to play the first two deus ex to understand the new one?

I never got a chance growing up to play it thanks to my helicopter mom. The new one on ps3,xbox 360 looks super cool.Do i need to play the first two deus ex to understand the new one?
I'm pretty sure this new one is a Prequel to the other two, so I doubt you'll need to play the earlier ones to understand it. However, i still recommend you play them, as they're both amazing games.

What is/are the deus ex machina in "Antigone"?

*A deus ex machina is an ironic plot device in which a surprising or unexpected event occurs in a story's plot, suddenly and completely resolving an otherwise unsolvable conflict.

that's the only thing I need to complete my assignment...pls help. thanks in advance n,nvWhat is/are the deus ex machina in "Antigone"?
It's been a couple of years since I studied Antigone but here goes. I think it's Tiresius coming to warn Creon of his actions and the consequences they will have. After the prophet's words Creon has a complete change of heart, though it is too late.

  • Deus Ex Machina: Can this be viewed in an agnostic/way?

My friends and I have squabbled about this many a time. Is it possible to look at Deus ex machina as an atheistic kind of phrase?Deus Ex Machina: Can this be viewed in an agnostic/way?
Being that it is a Latin phrase adopted for use as a description for a literary device, I see no religious implications other than the simple fact that the Latin directly translates to "God out of the machine". It doesn't mean that any time it is used, it describes a supernatural being intervening in the story. It just means that whatever was used to resolve the problem is unexpected and contrived.Deus Ex Machina: Can this be viewed in an agnostic/way?
A Deus ex Machina is a technical term to do with dramaturgy or stagecraft. It refers to any outlandish or excessive plot device. (There is a James Bond film where a villain with steel-capped teeth bites through the cables of a cablecar - everybody knows this is ridiculous, but they put up with it, because it is just a film).

The phrase probably goes back to ancient Greek theatre, where a bad dramatist would get his hero out of a tough spot by having a 'god' (Heracles or Apollo, usually) dropped into the middle of the stage by a theatrical crane (the machina) so the god could use his magical powers to save all the good guys.

There is nothing religious or atheistic about the phrase - it is just technical jargon.Deus Ex Machina: Can this be viewed in an agnostic/way?
It's a literary term that dates back to the classical Greek dramatists.

An unskilled author would write his characters into a situation he didn't know how to get them out of, and so he would invoke a supernatural resolution to his problem.
    It's a theater/literary term, nothing more.
