In my story, would this be considered a Deus Ex Machina?

It's a somewhat goofy fantasy story, but with some serious situations. Anyway, the hero's friend gets hurt and while they're apart, the hero thinks he's dying. While in an Atlantis-like place, the hero learns about a water that can heal people, but only the bad queen has access to it. The hero hurries to get it so he can help his friend.
